Provide feedback with sound Select this option to add sounds to certain actions or events in Word and other programs in 2007 Microsoft Office system. For example, Word can play a sound when it completes a process. To change the sound that is associated with an event, open the folder for sounds and audio devices in Control Panel. You can crop a page to hide content, or rotate it to change its orientation.
Crop a PDF
To crop a PDF, you first select the area you want to keep, and then discard the rest. If you want to view the dimensions of the content you’re selecting, choose Tools > Show Inspector, then click the Crop Inspector button and choose a unit of measurement that’s displayed in the Crop Inspector window.
In the Preview app on your Mac, if the Markup toolbar isn’t showing, click the Show Markup Toolbar button , then click the Rectangular Selection button .
Select the portion of the page you want to keep.
Click the Crop button in the Markup toolbar (or use the Touch Bar).
Note: To undo the crop immediately, choose Edit > Undo Crop. To undo the crop later, return to a version before the crop. Choose File > Revert To > Browse All Versions, then browse the versions to restore the one you want.

In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to change.
Do one of the following:
Rotate one page: Click (or use the Touch Bar) to rotate the page to the left. Continue clicking to keep rotating.
To rotate a page to the right, press and hold the Option key, then click until you’re done rotating the page .
Rotate several pages at once: Choose View > Thumbnails or View > Contact Sheet, select the pages to rotate, then click to rotate the pages to the left.
To rotate the selected pages to the right, hold the Option key, then click until you’re done rotating the pages.
Crop marks, also known as trim marks, are lines printed in the corners of your publication’s sheet or sheets of paper to show the printer where to trim the paper. They are used by commercial printers for creating bleeds where an image or color on the page needs to extend all the way to the edge of the paper. Printers generally can’t actually print to the very edge of the paper, so instead they print on a larger sheet of paper and then trim it down to the correct size, and crop marks are used to define where to trim. So, to print crop marks, you must print on a paper size that is larger than the page size you have set for your publication.
When would this come up? You might be creating a banner and printing it on your desktop printer using letter-size or legal-size paper. Publisher will print the banner across several sheets of paper that you need to cut and paste or tape together. Crop marks make this process much easier. Or you might want to create bleeds in your publication. Printing the crop marks makes it much easier to then trim the sheet back to create the bleed.
Publisher can automatically show and print crop marks. In Publisher 2003 and 2007, you enable crop marks in the Advanced Printer Setup dialog box:
